Sienna is on the cover of the new September issue of British GQ magazine! It’s a new photoshoot and interview … and Sienna looks absolutely gorgeous! You can see preview scans here at JustJared.

Sienna Miller hasn’t been short of publicity thanks to a high-profile romance with Balthazar Getty and her trend-setting style. But this summer she hopes fans will get to know her for another reason – G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

“It’s really exciting to be in a film that people actually want to go and see! I was having to pay people to see my movies!” the actress tells Nylon magazine in its August issue. “If you want to make amazing, artistic films, you’ve got to have some sort of box office credibility, which I don’t have.”

Yet, Miller remains a favorite among paparazzi. While filming the 1960s period piece Hippie Hippie Shake, a film out later this year, the actress had to strip down for a skinny-dipping scene and a photographer snapped a shot of her nude.

“Me, full-frontal naked. I don’t want to be naked on the cover of a Sunday newspaper! I don’t!” she said. “I don’t want people analyzing the shape of my muff!”

Scrutinized or not, Miller still says she wants to make a difference in the world – with or without the cameras. She recently traveled to Africa to help out in the war-ravaged Congo region.

“I basically realized that I was so resentful for so long about the state of my celebrity,” she told the magazine, “but I wanted to turn it around and do something good.”

Here are a few quotes from the new interview:

• On Jude Law and his affair with the nanny: “It’s dangerous to bring this up. I talked about him in an interview not long ago, saying that I still love him, and he was like, ‘Please stop talking about it.’ . . . That was a very pivotal time in my life, and I’m happy saying that. It’s a private moment when you get your heart broken for the first time, and that was the absolute antithesis of private. It couldn’t have been more public! I had people on the street being like, ‘ ’Ang in there, loov!’ and all you want to do is crawl into a cave and weep for a week.”

• On a friend turning her on to therapy: “She took me out to lunch — funnily enough to a restaurant called Balthazar, which I thought was hilarious, but she never commented on the irony of that — and she said, ‘You’ve been through hell, and you need to talk about it with someone.’ I got to the point where I was doing things that I didn’t necessarily think I was capable of as a person. And I wanted to be conscious of my actions. I think I was really naive and trusting and thinking that if you are true to yourself, that’s enough, that’s the best way to be. But actually, it’s important to become more conscious.”

• On her love life: “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception. I’m either in one or I’m not. I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”

• On Her ‘Mysteries of Pittsburgh’ Nudity: “I don’t think I feel comfortable getting naked now. I can see where I made the decision to make that film three years ago, but then you grow up and evolve and your tastes change.

• On Her Public Perception: “I’ve made some bad choices and done some stupid things.”

• On Her Split With Jude Law, and the Infamous ‘Nannygate’: “I was in this period where I was making movies back-to-back because I didn’t want to be at home. Anything not to be in London. I was running away.

Sienna is on the cover of this week’s issue of UK Hello magazine. As you can see from the cover below it features a gorgeous new photoshoot! I’ll pick this up and add scans as soon as I can. Thanks to L for the heads-up.

Sienna also attended the Elle Style Awards in London last night, where she was given the ‘Elle Style Icon Award’. She’ll probably be on the cover of UK Elle magazine in the next couple of months as a result.

Sienna is featured in The New York Times Magazine’s annual Oscar portfolio (in the February 10th issue), which highlights “Fifteen film actors whose performances in 2007 marked a career-defining moment — and set them above the rest”.
