Sienna Miller revels in her ‘Girl’ power
The actress plays Hitchcock muse/obsession Tippi Hedren in a new HBO docudrama.
Sienna Miller is nestled on a sofa, barefoot and clad in a fuzzy sweater. Her dad has just stopped by, giving his daughter a new cellphone that she has yet to program. Her infant daughter, Marlowe, is asleep in the closed-off bedroom.
It’s mom’s first day back at the office since hibernating with Marlowe and her father, Miller’s fiance Tom Sturridge, in London, and Miller feels a bit discombobulated, but also pleasantly revived.
“I have a great job because my baby can come to work with me. We’ve been the three of us and that’s been fantastic. And now I have to do some work,” she says. “I’ve fortunately hired a nanny. I’m feeding every three hours so I’m still in it. She’s a fast feeder. It’s fortunate. When she gets older and is in school, we’ll work it out. She’s the most important thing. I don’t want to be anywhere except near her.”

At this point, where mom goes, baby follows. And Miller, 30, is in Manhattan promoting HBO’s The Girl, which tells the creepily obsessive relationship that legendary director Alfred Hitchcock had with actress Tippi Hedren. She starred in two films for him, 1963′s The Birds and 1964′s Marnie. After she rejected his advances, he shut down her career.

After my post a month or so ago about the dilemma over whether to post candids of Sienna and her new baby, I have now settled on a decision I feel comfortable with. For the time being, I will not be posting candids of Sienna with her baby. I will also not be posting candids of just Sienna where she looks uncomfortable with the photographers being there or is obviously trying to hide. This has always been my policy with candids, but I may be more picky with what I post now. See the photo below? That was taken a few days ago and Sienna doesn’t look happy to be photographed, does she  Upon browsing for recent appearance photos I came across a few more shots – below the main one below – that made me 100% certain this is the right decision.
I’m painfully aware this will alienate several visitors, and I do apologise for that. I know how much many of you like candids. But at the end of the day, we are a fansite here to support & respect Sienna, and now that she seems to be in a happy and comfortable place in her life, it feels wrong to intrude on that. I hope Sienna fans will understand and respect that too.
A really big thank you to the few of you that commented on my previous post about this. I really appreciated your feedback and support.

In good news, however, I will try to continue working on completing our content soon, and then after that I will be ‘re-vamping’ the gallery to tidy it up, add new photos, add better quality versions of pictures etc., as well as replacing some film screencaptures with HD versions (Sienna in HD – wooo!). This will be a slow process due to the amount of photos and real-life, but it will be worth it, I’m sure 
Several new sets of candids of Sienna out with baby Marlowe are popping up, and I’m finding myself in a bit of a dilemma with them – should I post them on here, or not? I feel that Sienna is really happy at the moment and by posting the candids it feels like we are intruding on that, which feels a bit uncomfortable now – especially as there is a small baby involved. After all, we are a fansite that is here to support and respect Sienna Miller.
I know candids are extremely popular – and ones of Sienna with her baby are probably going to be just as in demand – but I can’t help but feel a bit uncomfortable with them at the moment. If Sienna is clearly smiling at the cameras when out with Marlowe then I see no problem with those photos, but it’s any non-smiling pics that I am in doubt about.

Tiny little tidbit here that I thought was cute – Tom Sturridge was asked about Marlowe at the London premiere of his new movie On The Road, and told the reporter he didn’t want to talk about it – bravo to him for keeping it private! Watch the short clip here.
On August 1st, HBO held a Summer TCA (Television Critics Association) panel for The Girl, at which Toby Jones and Tippi Hedren herself appeared to talk about the new TV movie. Sienna took part via a telephone call from London. Below are quotes from Sienna, and links to several articles and reports about the panel that don’t mention Sienna.

Also included on the panel were stars Miller (by telephone from London) and Jones as well as director Julian Jarrold. Miller called her work in the film “intense” and “challenging” but “a lot of fun.”

Latest reports, including GraziaDaily.com, cite sources telling them that baby Marlowe’s full name is ‘Marlowe Ottoline Layng Sturridge‘. We will wait and see the truth … but if true, what do you think about this name?
Last night Sienna’s sister Savannah tweeted confirmation of the arrival of Sienna’s baby:

E! Online report that Sienna and Tom have named their daughter Marlow. EntertainmentWise follow up the article with speculation as to where the name comes from, including the possibility it is after the Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe, or the Buckinghamshire town of Marlow.
Sienna Miller is a brand-new mom!
The 30-year-old Factory Girl star and fiancé Tom Sturridge welcomed a daughter, their first child together, in London over the weekend, E! News has confirmed.
And we can exclusively reveal that the little girl’s name is…
Marlow!

Sienna Miller Chooses Theatre Inspired Name For Baby Daughter
She was queen of the ‘boho’ style and tread the West End boards as has fiancé Tom Sturridge so we are not surprised that Sienna Miller’s baby daughter, which was reportedly born over the weekend has a theatre inspired name, ‘Marlow’.
According to E! News the ‘Factory Girl’ star welcomed her daughter over the weekend in London and although no details of why the couple chose ‘Marlow’ it could have been inspired by the Elizabethan playwright Christopher Marlowe.
Sienna is no stranger to the stage having recently starred in ‘Flare Path’ in 2011 while fiancé Tom won ‘Most Outstanding Newcomer’ at the 2009 Evening Standard Awards for his turn in ‘Punk Rock’ by Simon Stephens.
Another famous ‘Marlow’ is Charles Marlow, British writer Joseph Conrad’s alter-ego who narrated several of his most famous novels including ‘Heart Of Darkness’.
Or perhaps it was after the Buckinghamshire town of Marlow?

US Weekly are reporting that Sienna has given birth this weekend! We’ll await official confirmation to be sure, but if it is true then we send a massive congratulations to the family!!

I’ve now added candids from the last few weeks to our Gallery. Sienna has been photographed arriving at/leaving Claridges for Robert Pattinson’s birthday dinner, taking a stroll in Primrose Hill, and leaving her baby shower! She’s looking fantastic! The May 24th set are particularly pretty – both her outfit, and the smile on her face. As much as I love seeing her day-to-day outfits, I am glad the photographers have to leave her alone these days and that she is able to get on with her life without hassle.
