After almost 9 years of being online, I have made the decision that now is the time for Sienna Miller Online to close. It’s been a real ride running this site over this 9 years, seeing the press around Sienna explode, following her career rise and rise, and watching her develop as an actress and a person. Sienna is still one of my favourite actresses and I am excited to see what she does next and I will continue to watch her work – I have a lot of respect for the acting career path she has taken so far, and know she will stay true to herself in the roles she takes, and I look forward to watching this. Sienna has been a great inspiration, and I have loved being able to support her through this fansite. However, at this point I no longer feel like I can do her justice through this fansite, which is why I have decided to close it. I don’t have the time or motivation to continuously update with candids, appearance photos, magazines, news about other non-acting career projects etc., which is what you expect and want from a fansite. And I don’t want the site to just sit here un-updated.
A big thank you must go to everyone who has contributed to and supported Sienna Online over the years! Without a doubt I would not have been able to build this site up like I have, or have enjoyed it as much as I have, without your input. In our prime, we had the most fantastic, dedicated visitors & forum members, and I just loved working on this site for you and Sienna!
The site will remain online and open for the next couple of months, and barring any major changes of mind, will go offline maybe around August. Thank you once again for visiting our fansite, and please keep supporting the wonderful Sienna!
Big thanks to Abby for making us 10 new bright and colourful icons to update our Media pages with! There are new icons from her in the Photoshoots, Films, Appearances and Other categories – click each of the icons below to go to the relevant category.
Q&A: Sienna Miller
‘My most embarrassing moment? Coughing up a greeny on to the script in front of me while doing an audition with bronchitis’
Sienna Miller, 30, was born in New York and educated in England. Having studied drama at the Lee Strasberg Institute in New York, she made her film debut in 2004 in Matthew Vaughn’s Layer Cake. Her other movies include Alfie, Casanova, Factory Girl, Interview and GI Joe: The Rise Of Cobra. In 2005, she made her West End debut in As You Like It at the Young Vic. She performed on Broadway in After Miss Julie and appeared in Terence Rattigan’s Flare Path in London last year. She plays Alfred Hitchcock’s muse Tippi Hedren in The Girl, which airs on BBC2 this month. In July, she had a daughter, Marlowe, with her partner, the actor Tom Sturridge.

Several new sets of candids of Sienna out with baby Marlowe are popping up, and I’m finding myself in a bit of a dilemma with them – should I post them on here, or not? I feel that Sienna is really happy at the moment and by posting the candids it feels like we are intruding on that, which feels a bit uncomfortable now – especially as there is a small baby involved. After all, we are a fansite that is here to support and respect Sienna Miller.
I know candids are extremely popular – and ones of Sienna with her baby are probably going to be just as in demand – but I can’t help but feel a bit uncomfortable with them at the moment. If Sienna is clearly smiling at the cameras when out with Marlowe then I see no problem with those photos, but it’s any non-smiling pics that I am in doubt about.
So, I’m really interested to hear your thoughts and opinions on this. Don’t hesitate to leave a comment on this post with anything you may like to say on that. You can also tweet us (@SiennaOnline) or email me (firstname.lastname@example.org). I look forward to hearing your responses…!
Taking a break from all the news and rumours about little baby Marlowe Sturridge, today I have a content update for you. A big thank you goes to Heath Ziegenfusz, who has kindly sent us his portrait drawings of Sienna to post on the site! Heath has drawn three pictures of Sienna, and they’re all brilliant – I think he’s got Sienna’s eyes just right in all three! Have a look at them in our Media section by clicking the thumbnails below.
Remember that I love receiving your fanart and media, so if you’ve made or drawn something Sienna related and would like to show it off on Sienna Online, then just drop me an email
As it’s January 1st already, I would like to take a second to wish all of our visitors and fellow Sienna fans – as well as Ms Miller herself – a very Happy New Year! I hope 2012 brings you lots of happiness and success.
2011 was a brilliant year for Sienna, with a highly successful run in the critically acclaimed Flare Path on the West End in London. She’s also shot a couple of movies, and dedicated more and more of her time to working with the International Medical Corps, something which she was honoured for just a couple of months ago. 2012 promises to be an even bigger year for our Sienna, with the release of what should be a total of four new movies! I also hope Sienna will be able to fit in another West End play or two 😉
Thank you for visiting Sienna Online this year, I hope you’ve enjoyed your visit! I’m really excited about Sienna’s 2012 as I’m sure you other fans are, and I can’t wait to cover it all for you here at Sienna Online, so I hope you’ll stick with us for it, as well as all the latest and greatest and beyond on Ms Miller.
I’ve just made a small content update for you today, adding new The Edge Of Love and G.I. Joe Tic Tac Toe Games, and two new pages – Quizzes and iBackgrounds. More quizzes will be added soon, probably.
As always, let me know if you have any suggestions for new/updated content!
We have new candids! Sienna was once again snapped leaving the theatre last night, and I’ve added photos to our Gallery. Sightings have been surprisingly low this week, and I do wonder if that’s because ALL attentions have been somewhere else in London this past week 😉
Since the last update a few days ago I’ve continued to work on our content, and have re-added the Astrology Reports, Handwriting, Mailbag, Contact Sienna and Name Analysis pages in the Sienna section.

Photos from the last few candid sightings of Si leaving the theatre have been added to the Gallery, including the set from last night. We also have scans from a recent issue of Polish magazine Hot, thanks to Agata.
Content-wise, I’ve re-added the Factfile and Style Rules pages in the Sienna section.
EDIT: The Factfile, Astrology and Handwriting pages are now up too!

Before I started having computer problems a few weeks ago, I was in the middle of working hard on re-vamping our Media section, and today I have completed that! As part of our on-going site re-vamp I have converted the pages over to a new format (which doesn’t make much difference for you, but is easier for me to update), tidied up each of the pages, added new pages, and updated existing pages where possible.
There isn’t much new stuff, mostly because my graphic skills are very limited 😉 I have added a new page for Twitter backgrounds though, I’ve made lots of cute new Desktop Icons and some new Fan Signs. I’ve also added official movie Screensavers and Wallpapers, from various official movie sites.
The biggest updates, however, are in the Icons section. I’ve re-organised the pages and arranged the icons into categories, as you will see. We have some fabulous new icons (mainly in the Photoshoots category) by Jen and Lucile, so a big thank you goes to them for contributing their work. Lucile has also contibuted a gorgeous Wallpaper.
As I said above, my graphic skills are limited, plus I know a lot of you out there have fantastic graphic skills, so if you’d like to see your media displayed here at Sienna Online then please get in touch! You can read my recent post about contributing media here, but all you really need to know is that you can email me anything you’ve made and would like to share because I would love to see it 😛
I will start working on the Sienna section next…
