The actress Sienna Miller on the ups and downs of her hair.

When I was a teenager and watched Catherine McCormack in Braveheart I thought she was the most beautiful thing I’d ever seen. I was captivated by her undone, windswept Highland hair, but it was in stark contrast to my own, which went through several horrible stages.

First I experimented with rave colours, dying it pink, then pink with white streaks, then green. I even tried cornrows, which was not a good look on me, especially as I had braces at the same time.

Then, when I was 16, I took a picture of Winona Ryder into a branch of Toni & Guy in an effort to achieve her pixie cut. But when I walked out I looked as if I had a helmet on. My boyfriend at the time opened the door and closed it in my face. I don’t think I’ll be trying that again. Fortunately nowadays I go with whatever hairstyle is the lowest maintenance. I think I’ll be avoiding the cornrows, then.

Sienna Miller has taken up yoga to help with her pregnancy.

The ‘Factory Girl’ actress is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Tom Sturridge and has recently begun practicing the relaxation and strengthening technique because she hates working out.

She said: ‘I have been trying to do some pregnancy yoga as I’m definitely not a gym person.

‘My mum started up one of the first yoga schools in London in the 70s, so I should probably utilise her expertise as I have really bad posture. But I think I’d probably kill her if she tried to tell me to sit up straight.’

Sienna thinks her skin looks much better since she got pregnant – though she is unsure whether that is due to her having quit smoking and drinking alcohol.

She added to Marie Claire magazine: ‘My skin definitely looks better since I became pregnant – although not smoking or drinking has probably helped with that.

‘Body-wise I’ve been slathering on Dr. Hauschka Blackthorn Body Oil to try to prevent stretch marks, which is gorgeous and certainly seems to have worked so far.’

Sienna Miller is planning a “last hurrah trip” before her baby arrives.

The actress is currently pregnant with her first child. Sienna can’t wait to become a mother and has decided to prepare for the change in her life by taking a holiday with her beau Tom Sturridge.

The 30-year-old is looking forward to a relaxing babymoon – the term given to a vacation taken by parents-to-be.

“Now that I’m pregnant, I’ve made sure my schedule is quiet. I’ve been doing a little bit of yoga and I want to take time to look after myself. I’m going on holiday soon, which will be lovely; it’s a pre-baby, last hurrah trip,” she told the latest UK issue of InStyle. “I’m in the mood for lying on a beach, reading a lot of books and a bit of culture. I like being able to walk into an old town and find good local food.”

Sienna has reduced her workload in preparation for the new arrival.

She also revealed that her fashion designer sister has been happy to impart her wisdom on raising children.

“After that, I’ll be at home, getting some sleep. My sister Savannah [who has two daughters, a son and a stepson], is a baby machine; she’s an expert and, whether I want her advice or not, it’s being given!” Sienna laughed.

Sienna and Tom are believed to be engaged. They started dating in mid-2011 following her split from actor Jude Law.

Sienna Miller is probably “quite scared” that her friend Poppy Delevingne lusts after her looks.

The pair are now pals, but before they struck up a friendship Poppy admired stunning Sienna from afar.

The actress is famed for her effortlessly gorgeous aesthetic – something which Poppy is still in awe of to this day.

“I remember when Sienna Miller’s first Vogue cover came out, just after she was in Alfie and before I knew her. She looked so dreamy in white and she had feathers in her hair and that whole boho thing going on,” Poppy told Vogue.co.uk.

“She was totally my heroine at the time, I just wanted to emulate her. And now of course we’re friends and I’m always telling her how I wanted to be just like her – she probably finds it quite scary.”

Poppy also spoke about her younger sister and fellow model Cara. The blonde star says her sibling was destined to end up in front of the camera.

“Cara was just the sweetest little thing, growing up. She had this gorgeous little face you just wanted to squidge, she was just so adorable,” she gushed. “She was one of those people that from the day she was born, you just knew she was going to be beautiful. The pictures of her as a child are brilliant.”

Pregnant Sienna Miller Rocks Horizontal Stripes and Skinny Jeans

Sienna Miller’s pregnancy certainly isn’t putting a damper on her style!

The 30-year-old mom-to-be rocked skinny jeans, horizontal stripes and an adorable black shawl today on the streets of London.

But is Tom Sturridge’s ladylove (they’ve yet to officially confirm they’re engaged!) planning to be barefoot and pregnant?

Heck no! Look at those ankle boots. Miller was at work shooting a commercial for Amore Pacific skin care line.

The star recently told Vogue about her pregnancy. “I’m feeling fine,” she said. “It’s all progressing nicely and it’s very exciting.”

We’re certainly excited to meet Sienna and Tom’s little one, who will undoubtedly be a sharp dresser!

Sienna Miller and her baby bump film advert in London

Sienna Miller and her fast-growing baby bump – which seems to be burgeoning at the speed of light – were hard at work filming an advertisement in London yesterday.

The 30-year-old actress was spotted on location in the capital working a number of typically stylish looks as she showed off her expanding stomach.

She looked achingly cool in a striped Breton top, skinny jeans and ankle boots as she worked it for the camera, before changing into a flowing white summer dress.

Miller, who is expecting her first child with boyfriend Tom Sturridge, 26, hasn’t slowed down one bit since becoming pregnant and last month was seen filming scenes for new movie A Case of You in New York.

Although she is refusing to give too much away about her pregnancy and private life in general, she did recently reveal that she’s developed a severe sweet tooth now that she’s a mum-to-be.

‘I feel very grounded, more than ever – it’s a wonderful feeling. But all of a sudden, I’ve started to get cravings,’ she said, explaining she wanted a vanilla ice-cream topping for her brownies.

‘I usually don’t have a sweet tooth but these tarts I could eat all day long!’ she added.

Carey Mulligan has married her rock star beau Marcus Mumford, of Mumford & Sons.

The 26-year-old actress and the 25-year-old singer tied the knot on Saturday at a Somerset, England farm. The couple’s 200 guests included eight bridesmaids in turquoise dresses, Hollywood friends Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth and family, the Daily Mail reports.

Reports of the couple’s weekend wedding plans first surfaced last week, when a source told Radar Online that Mulligan was “absolutely walking on air and can hardly contain her excitement.”

“They are madly in love and know they are perfect for each other,” a source added.

According to Us Weekly, Mulligan wore a custom-made cream gown by Prada, complete with pink Wellignton rain boots. (The weather was not very cooporative during the ceremony, so the bride had to dress appropriately).

Don’t expect Sienna Miller to be taking much maternity leave after she gives birth to her child by Tom Sturridge later this year. The actress says that she’s planning a swift return to theatre.

“It’s something I’m addicted to,” confesses Miller. “I’m thinking of doing another play relatively soon. I’ve been offered something that I’m thinking about.”

The next project for the 30-year-old star of Flare Path could be a memorable one, as she’s revealed her love for physical theatre. She has spoken about her unrealised dream of going to Jacques Lecoq, the physical theatre school, in Paris.

SIENNA MILLER has revealed that her sister Savannah is already working hard on her new label – in Sienna’s attic.

“My sister is an amazing designer – she’s working on her new label at the moment.” Sienna told us. “In fact she’s designing in my attic as we speak. I just can’t wait to wear all of the pieces.” The sisters announced in February that they were stepping down from Twenty8Twelve, the label that they co-founded in 2007.

And as for the pregnant star’s own style, she’s happy to talk about her new penchant for tailoring – just don’t mention that “boho” phase, which sparked a million high street copycats.

“I hate the word boho so much now!” she laughed. “I suppose I am inherently bohemian in terms of the way I am as a person, and I definitely went through a hippie phase with my style. But I think it’s really more about the way my personality is, than the way I dress. Now that I’m a bit older I do appreciate tailoring much more than I used to, but my personality is still very laid-back. Even when I put on a power suit I still look like a hippie, so I suppose it’s true.”

The mother-to-be, actress and face of Hugo Boss Orange also spoke about modelling for Vogue – the cover of which she has appeared on five times – most recently for the April 2012 issue.

“[Vogue fashion editor] Francesca Burns is a friend of mine and the April 2012 cover was her first cover – so it was lovely to be able to work with her on that. Plus Ryan McGinley is a genius photographer so that was great – he’s a real artist,” she said. “The October 2009 cover was shot by Mario Testino in a garden, so that was a really good one too – he’s shot me twice for the cover and he really captures you, I think. And then I really love both of the Nick Knight ones because he’s just so amazing and creative. But it’s impossible to pick a favourite.”
