Has someone been giving Sienna Miller lessons in how to lose friends and fail to influence people?
She ought to have been desperate to impress at the launch of her first feature film. Instead, the diva-in-training snubbed the post-premiere party for Layer Cake and struggled to sing its praises. Critics are raving about the new Brit gangster flick but all she managed to say was that her scenes were “gratuitous”.
Perhaps Sienna, who is dating Jude Law, sees herself as above all that. She dressed down for the occasion – grudgingly making a red carpet appearance in jeans and black top.
And while the rest of the cast went to Matthew Freud’s Notting Hill home for a party, Sienna scuttled off to nearby Italian restaurant Assagi with Law.
A movie insider said: “You’d have thought as she was only up the road, it would’ve been polite to the director Matthew Vaughn to pop in. At the party were some real Hollywood players, including Miramax boss Harvey Weinstein. That’ll be seen as a snub. Even stars like Halle Berry go to film parties.”

Sienna attended the world premiere of Layer Cake in London yesterday, and I’ve added 39 pictures to the Gallery! Don’t miss them, Sienna looked great! I’ve added 9 pictures from the Frost French Fashion event she and Jude attended the other day, and I’ve also added to the amFAR Venice Benefit, Golden Globes 2004, Cold Mountain LA Premiere and Miscellaneous Photoshoot galleries.
Layer Cake opens in the UK on October 1st (next Friday). The Alfie premiere is October 14th (can’t wait for that!!)
It looks like former sparring partners Jude Law and Sadie Frost have put their troubled past behind them.The heartthrob actor turned up with girlfriend Sienna Miller to Sadie’s fashion show.

Hollywood hunk Jude Law has spoken for the first time about how he fell for girlfriend Sienna Miler on the set of movie remake Alfie.
The 31-year-old, who split from wife Sadie Frost last year (03), blames emotionally-draining movie shoots for bringing many co-stars together.
And while Law is aware of the dangers of falling in love with a screen girlfriend, he made an exception with Miller, 22.
He says, “We’re really happy. She’s a very talented girl, beautiful.
“When you’re acting you are in this kind of fantasy world anyway and every emotion you’re going through gets heightened. Maybe film sets are dangerous like that!”
