Sienna news is quiet at the moment, so here is some music from the Nous York soundtrack that I just came across.
Mere weeks before giving birth to baby Marlowe, Sienna posed nude for British artist Jonathan Yeo. The result is a beautiful, golden painting of an all-natural Sienna.
Read about the painting and Yeo’s new exhibition below, and click the thumbnail preview to view the full painting at Yeo’s official website. If you browse through his Portraits pages there you will also find his previous painting of Sienna from 2010. I will add the paintings to our Gallery soon.

Nude Pregnant Sienna Miller Painting
A NUDE portrait of a pregnant Sienna Miller is to feature in the first major exhibition from British artist Jonathan Yeo. Entitled, (I’ve Got You) Under My Skin, the collection of works will go on display later this week in Berlin.
“This portrait of Sienna was painted a few weeks before the birth of her baby Marlowe and is part of a series of pictures of her which I plan to exhibit next year,” wrote Yeo in the catalogue which accompanies the show. “It is a tribute to her courage and self-confidence that she agreed to sit for this. I can think of many figures whose public currency in part revolves around their appearance who would prefer to hide themselves away for nine months.”
The painting of the Vogue cover girl will feature alongside a series of portraits and collages dedicated to the “contemporary obsession” with plastic surgery. Yeo spent the last 18 months observing the work of leading cosmetic surgeons in the UK and US for inspiration.
Sienna’s most recently announced upcoming film Foxcatcher now has a couple of distributors, Variety report. IndieWire also report on this news, and mention their excitement for this project – they’re not alone on that!
Columbia nabs rights to ‘Foxcatcher’
Columbia Pictures has caught U.S. distribution rights to Bennett Miller’s “Foxcatcher” from Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures in addition to coming on to co-finance the movie, which Panorama Media is repping international sales for at AFM this week.
Written by E. Max Frye and Dan Futterman, drama is based on a true story and stars Steve Carell, Channing Tatum, Mark Ruffalo, Sienna Miller, Vanessa Redgrave and Anthony Michael Hall.
Carell stars as John du Pont, the paranoid schizophrenic heir to the du Pont chemical fortune who built a wrestling training facility called Team Foxcatcher on his Pennsylvania estate. Ruffalo will play Olympic grappler Dave Schultz, a longtime friend of du Pont who had repeatedly tried to help him before du Pont shot and killed him in 1996. Police never established a motive for the crime. Tatum and Miller will co-star as Schultz’s brother and wife, respectively.
Megan Ellison, Anthony Bregman and Miller are producing “Foxcatcher,” which is currently in production. Sony Pictures Entertainment aims to release the film in the fall of 2013.
The deal, which Columbia’s Andrew Gumpert and Michael Marshall negotiated with Panorama Media, reunites Miller with the studio, which released his Oscar-nominated drama “Moneyball” last year.
Sony and Annapurna are also teaming to release Kathryn Bigelow’s “Zero Dark Thirty” at the end of the year.

Matthew Williamson is celebrating his 15th anniversary in fashion at the moment, and our Sienna is involved! First off, he mentioned Sienna in an interview with Grazia:
1. Do you have a muse?
MW: No. I find working with one person in my mind a little limiting. I have many muses!3. Of all the women who have worn your designs which were you more excited about?
MW: I’ve got to say someone other than Sienna haven’t I?! But really I do get excited every time I see someone wearing my clothes. Even if I see someone on the street I go ooooo! It’s not always about celebrity – I’ve been excited about everyone who looks good in my clothes from Beyoncé to a girl I once saw sat in Claridges wearing one of my jackets. Whenever I see someone wearing my clothes I always try and tell them they look lovely.
And Matthew has also created a short film to commemorate the anniversary, and Sienna is seen posing and modelling his clothes in it. Below is the behind the scenes of the shoot video, and then the film itself. Screencaptures will be added to our Gallery soon.
If you’ve seen any other mentions of Sienna in relation to Matthew Williamson’s 15th anniversary then please leave a comment!
“Matthew has an innate understanding of women, and you never have a better time than when wearing his clothes. It’s just full of this sense of fun that he radiates.” As Sienna Miller, Poppy Delevingne and Valentine Fillol-Cordier join Matthew to celebrate his 15th anniversary with the film ‘XV’, we go behind-the-scenes at Aynhoe Park as the day of filming unfolds.
The special short film stars Sienna, Poppy and Andrea Riseborough and is directed by Tell No One. The film features eight ballerinas from the Royal Ballet, choreographed by the acclaimed Wayne McGregor, founder of the Random Dance company. With original script by Mark Whelan, the collaborative film makers Luke White and Remi Weekes created the mini movie as a snapshot into the imagination of a 15-year-old Williamson, dreaming up his very own fashion fantasy with a very down-to-earth twist at the end.
The film will launch on Wednesday 31st October on net-a-porter.com and swarovski.tv.
A Look At ‘The Girl’ Who Caught Hitchcock’s Eye
“Blondes make the best victims,” according to Alfred Hitchcock. Think Grace Kelly in Dial M for Murder or Janet Leigh in Psycho. A new HBO movie called The Girl explores the unnerving events that went on behind the scenes in his 1963 movie, The Birds. The blond victim — on and off screen — was a young, unknown actress named Tippi Hedren, played by Sienna Miller in The Girl.
Hitchcock was riding high in the early ’60s. His most recent movie, Psycho, had been nominated for four Oscars. He wanted his follow-up to be bigger and scarier than ever. He plucked Hedren from obscurity after seeing her in a TV commercial. Naturally she was — at first — elated to be cast in a film by one of Hollywood’s hottest directors.
For actor Toby Jones, portraying one of the most popular, eccentric and analyzed filmmakers of all time was a daunting task.
The real Alfred Hitchcock and Tippi Hedren explore Cannes together after the premiere of The Birds in 1963.“You have to keep saying, ‘Yes, it will be OK’ — even in the midst of extreme panic,” says Jones. To prepare for the role, he studied Hitchcock’s voice, which he describes as a mixture of cockney, Los Angeles, wine and cigars.
Hello Sienna fans! I have an update for you today that I’m very excited about – I’ve been able to add over 1,000 HD screencaptures from The Girl! Sienna looked beautiful in this film, so there are some really great shots in here for you to enjoy … especially as they’re in HD
I thought the film itself was an interesting insight into the director and was fairly enjoyable to watch, keeping a good pace and tension. Obviously Sienna was the highlight for me, and I thought she gave a good performance as Tippi, capturing the ambition and strength of the actress.
After 3 years of not seeing Sienna on screen, it’s really great to be able to watch – and screencap – her again! It’s been too long!
I hope you enjoy these caps as much as I did….
